A circular local walk signposted in white and yellow which takes about 4 hours, although this could be shortened or lengthened to suit.

The route takes in the Barrio Hondillo, the fountain “Hoya del Grillo”, climbs to the “Tajo de la Cruz” and goes past the “Tajo Colorao” on its way to the Arab castle. It is a very pretty route which climbs to the chapel of San Isidro to continue though the “La Escolta” and the fountain of “Zenete”. On route you will enjoy the system of water ditches for irrigation, “acequias”, the murmur of the water and the shade of century old chestnut trees.
